got some fuzzy ball stuff for monday and tuesday

on to long island for the td waterhouse tourney, last warmup for usopen and some f the biggies have decided to take the week off. looks like a bit of an unusual schedule, as far as i can tell, 6 first round matches on monday followed by 10 on tuesday.

don't see much to like much from the monday selection but a couple of tuesday matches are on the board and might jump early as don't see prices moving my way

for monday, with no real doggy dogs meeting my criteria, i'm using a fave parlay of el aynaoui/beck pays abouut -120 on the combo and,

keifer -110 over mathieu, both of these guys have been a bit erratic lately mathieu has won last 2 first rd matches only to get whooped in the 2nd rd. keifer went deep into the los angeles tournament but was beaten in his next attemptin qualifying (at cincinnati) hoping the west coast form returns for him on the east coast. he is the better hard ct player and has beaten better players on this surface lately.

going tuesday

- sargsian +115 over corretja, this is a bit scary because its one of those matches that the price seems to be way off (by my numbers and 3 other independent ratings that all agree) sarg should be somewhere around -140ish

- saretta even$ over costa, been using saretta quite a bit lately ands ticking by him here, he's in good form and probably should be favorite here based on current play.

- vicente +105 over o. rochus, rochus had a nice wimbledon, then played a couple clay tournaments and was knocked out early, hasn't played a hard ct tournament in the summer season. i have vicente rated the better player on hard ct, despite his 1st rd losses in each of his last 2 attempts. those were both to stronger players than rochus and expecting vicente to make some ammends here.

Interesting # on UMiami -27.5 at pinnacle. This # should move over 30 by game time, may not be a bad start to a middle. By the way LTECH gave up over 30 points in every game but one last year. They lost most of the defense so should be just as weak if not weaker this year. Only concern is Miami Has not been blowing out weak teams and LTEch has a Good QB but nothing else.

I can't REMEMBER when I last paid any attention to professional tennis, but I'm a whole lot more interested thanks to mjred. 3-0 again today & already down on tomorrow's. The board's best-kept secret.

Two out of three for mjred again today, although one of the wins didn't go the distance so Pinny doesn't pay. They really moved a couple of the lines today, so they may be paying attention now or else money flow is picking up on the hot streak.

you guys need to get in at carib or 5dimes,or another 'ball served' out, prices not always best (5d usually a bit better) but its really worth it when playing dogs.

rudy - re pinny moving the line, was that on sargsian? i wasn't home this afternoon so didn't see it but if it was i'm sure it was nothing to do with me. as i said in my post, that line was off and most serious tennis handicappers would have noticed that, i know for sure that there were more than a few big money guys who would have liked it too.

blue, of course i generally will shop for best price, and usually only if i have an inclination that a guy will quit do i go against that to take him at lower odds and 'ball served' i was not expecting costa to bail on this match or i would have recommended that. i happened to take it at carib because when i was betting it, pinn's lines weren't up yet, and i expected it to move. in general its going to hurt you more when you have a dog and the fave retires obviously, so one rule of thumb that would always keep you on the 'right' side of the issue would be to bet faves at pinn, canbet or one of the others who have changed to the 'no-action' rule, and take dogs at carib, 5d or another 'ball served' shop.

be back later with something for tomorrow.

mjred: Sargsian moved yesterday to about +102-106. He was even favored briefly this am and then went up to around +110 in the afternoon before turning around again to finish about even. It was the other two that moved more this am, both to around -115-120 when I looked. I took 'em all yesterday and got +105 on Sargsian, -101 on Vicente and -106 on Saretta.

There are some slow moving books out there when it comes to tennis. I don't play there anymore but was tempted to deposit at Betonsports. As of yesterday afternoon they had Sarretta at +120 everyone else had him at -120 could have walked away with a easy 10% middle. Any other slow books out there when it comes to tennis? I would have middled but they don't accept netteller.
